Dropped my BMW off for a rich running condition. Provided my shop with my Bentley repair manual that I bought from the BMW Store in Cincinnati. Finally, got my car back nearly three years later. Yes!! Three Years!! Whenever I stopped by to check on the status was given excuses i.e. that had some service people quit. When I picked up that car I mentioned that the Bentley Manual was not in the car. Shoppe owner indicated that he thought it was in the back of the store and would call me when he located it. Not surprisingly I never got it back. Issue causing the car to run rich was a broken wire on the connector to the Mass Air Meter. Bill was close to $400 and my brand new battery that had an 84-month warranty was lost as well. The owner seems like a nice person. I have moved away from Batesville, but makes me mad every time I need my Bentley manual. :(
