Terrible time scheduling. The office staff are normally very rude. She is not consistent with the amount of time she tells you it will take and how long it actually takes. My daughters braces were suppose to be on for a year and ended up being over a year and half. And even then I had to demand they be taken off because she was just dragging the process out.
But also I called their emergency line once because I had a wire that was digging into my cheek and it was causing me a lot of pain so I told them that and they said "try using nail clippers to clip the wire off." So I did and ended up making it 10x worse and when I called the emergency line back they didn't answer so I ended up going to an entirely different orthodontist that was my boyfriends when he was 16 and he offered to clip the wire off for me the next day free of charge. My orthodontist didn't even offer to bring me in the next day and clip it off for me. I would have had to drive an hour and half for it but I would have.
They're only opened like 4 days a week which is highly inconvenient for me considering I no longer live in batesville because I moved out of my parents.
I read the initial review stating that Dr. Scheele and her staff were rude and I beg to differ. I chose to take my son to Dr. Scheele based on how welcoming and kind her and the staff are. I found that she was very accommodating in regards to schedules because lord knows I forgot about a few visits and had to reschedule. Would recommend Dr. Scheele to anyone and have referred several of my friends based off of the amazing job she did for my sons teeth and how kind, respectful and professional she and her staff are! You can go to multiple constellations and never receive the warm generosity that you get from the moment that you walk into her office. Love Dr. Scheele and all of her staff. She is AMAZING at her profession!
They're also not very good at calling back once you leave them a voicemail.
So I got my braces my sophomore year of highschool, they made me wear brackets without a wire for at least a month so I took my school pictures with just brackets on my teeth... Anyway I'm about to turn 21 and I still have them.
